Un programa de vacunación contra el sarampión patrocinado por las Naciones Unidas en el norte de Siria provocó que 36 niños sufrieran una “muerte atroz”, según relatan los médicos de la zona, controlada por los rebeldes sirios

Los niños que recibieron la vacuna envenenada experimentaron rápidamente fallos cardíacos y vieron como su piel adquiría un tono azulado.

Además de las 36 muertes reportadas, docenas de otros niños han caído gravemente enfermos.

Los activistas anti-Assad han culpado de ello al gobierno sirio y le han acusado de envenenar las vacunas con cianuro.

“Al menos cinco niños han muerto y otros 50 están sufriendo las consecuencias del envenenamiento y las graves reacciones alérgicas después de la campaña de vacunación contra el sarampión en Jirjanaz, en la provincia de Idlib”afirma el Observatorio Sirio para los Derechos Humanos.

Alimentos vegetales con los que puedes sustituir la carne

Muchos de nuestros platos habituales pueden convertirse en veganos fácilmente sustituyendo la carne como ingrediente en la receta, por legumbres, cereales, soja texturizada (gruesa o fina) o bien por tofu, seitán o diversos productos ya elaborados a partir de la soja como las hamburguesas vegetales, albóndigas, salchichas, etc.

Las legumbres:

Las legumbres como las lentejas, garbanzos, judías etc. además de proporcionarnos un buen aporte protéico pueden utilizarse en infinidad de platos como sustitutos de la carne. Los potajes, estofados, guisos,cocidos etc. los prepararémos igual que antes pero sin añadirles carne ni ningún producto de origen animal (también podemos sustituirlos por versiones vegetales de “salchichas”, “chorizo” etc. preparándolos nosotros mismos como esta morcilla veganacasera, o comprándolos en herbolarios o tiendas veganas, además podemos también utilizar otros sustitutos de la carne tales como el tofu o seitan). Además podemos elaborar patés vegetales como elhummus o deliciosas…
